Xanthelasma is a harmless, yellow growth that appears on or by the corners of your eyelids next to your nose. Cholesterol deposits build up under your skin to form a xanthelasma. A xanthelasma doesn’t go away without treatment. Removal options range and can include surgery, heat or cold therapies. Treatments are effective, but it may take several sessions. Xanthelasmas may come back after removal. Please note that if the procedure is not carried out, the consultation fee of £55 applies. It is not necessary to book an additional consultation appointment. All prices quoted are per session, not per lesion. Number of lesions treated per session varies dependent on size. The precise method of removal varies, depending on physical examination. This will be discussed at your appointment. Lesions will only be removed following assessment and if safe to do so. Some lesions may require a histology examination which may incur an additional charge.
